Why do I use old tin?

Recycle, Reduce, Reuse. 

A phrase so often heard in my youth; a phrase I took to heart. 

Which leads me to what my heart truly yearns to answer..

How can I make this place a little better before my short time on Earth is up? 

This question, so often asked of us, ignites my very effort to leave whatever imprint possible. 

So, I have chosen art. 

I have chosen wearable art, wearables once discarded, once a decorative item for the home in our past, to now a decorative wearable from the vintage era we all admire! 

I take antique and old tin items, and with a cut here and a twist there, 

I breathe new life and birth a form of jewelry 

where I can both share my love of floral vintage patterns 

and save the planet... at the same time.
